The folder that I copied to backup says primo2 and I have had the radio since about 2012 or so. Anyways, I have the navigation thing in a boss head unit keeps bothering me about updating. We would like to help you but you have to give more details about this and that etc. A better (nicer) reply would be like hello newby, welcome to the forums. Probly would have been better if you didn't reply. Man, I have been on forums before mostly helping and getting helped with discontinued phone and browser and I have to say that in all these years I have never seen a question answered with such attitude.

Thus updating maps and map related files is a matter of download-copy-paste. Naviextras not recognizing your Primo is a 99% chance of your Primo being a not OEM product, thus a cracked Primo. And what maps? Europe? USA? Middle East? etc. The maps you have can be recent or 4 years old. Maps or the whole program? And how can we possibly know what maps or program build you are talking about? And what needs updating or not. Hope it will work on my 3 units, if it does someone here might help me to upload a copy onto this website.Katastrofe wrote:Depends on what you want or need to update.

Update have purchased this from eBay, "Latest genuine licensed IGO Map - Australia & NZ Map 2020 Q4 for Windows device." I must wait patiently till someone provides the next update on one of these websites. However as you explained this does not allow me to purchase legal maps for my units. Since then I have been able to use the one update (HERE) for all three units, this is great for me. 3 years ago I Hacked my two Blaupunkt newyork 830 units to accept the software that came with my Xgody GPS which I use in my Mercedes sprinter motorhome. Maybe in about 1-3 Months you will have also 2020.Q4 from TT also.Thank you for the explanation. You can buy legally from Naviextras only TT content with your device license. You see the last available release from TT which are 2020.06 (2020.Q2).

Your Blaupunkt newyork 830 has license for TomTom maps.
